MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA degree)
Recognized by ACBSP, the Masters of Business Administration is aimed to prepare students for leadership on the global stage. During MBA, students will learn to strategically respond to challenges and opportunities, and lead teams through the resolution of problems. English proficiency requirements are IELTS overall 6.5 with not less than 6.0 – CGPA of 3.0 (on 4.33 scales). The program has October, January, April and July Start dates, the next available intake is October 2019.
- MBA FOUNDATION: For students who do not have the requirements but would like to pursue the MBA program. Students need to earn a grade of B or higher on each foundation course to be in the degree program. The students who have their undergraduate CGPA between C+ (2.33) and B- (2.99) can apply for the MBA foundation program.
UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE COURSES
Applicants for the undergraduate degree program must have at minimum, the equivalent of a Canadian high school (Grade 12) diploma, with an overall average of C or higher (2.00 on a 4.33 scale). If you have already graduated from high school and do not meet the minimum required grade levels, you can be considered for admission if you have completed “at least 30 academic post-secondary credits at a recognized institution”. English proficiency requirements are IELTS overall 6.5 with not less than 6.0 in any module. However, if you have a low IETLS score, you can apply for the English program to meet the program requirements. BACHELOR OF ARTS IN BUSINESS COMMUNICATION (BA)
The Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication program will develop students’ knowledge of media, cultural studies, and business alongside theoretical and practical skills. Graduates will be able to evaluate and integrate all forms of business communication, demonstrate research techniques and methodologies and much more. English Proficiency requirements include: IELTS with an overall score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum of 6.0 in the writing band, or equivalent (for students whose first language is not English).
ASSOCIATE OF ARTS DEGREE
The Associate of Arts program is combinations of core skills in writing, communication, research and team performance. It is an undergraduate diploma that is 60 credits (20 courses) and prepares the student for additional post-secondary education, or the students can transfer their credits for an undergraduate degree in the future. The student with an academic overall average of C or better (2.0 on a 4.33 scale), can apply for this program and the English proficiency requirements are IELTS over all 6.5 with not less than 6.0 in any module. However, students with low IETLS can apply for an English program (the university access program) to meet the program requirements. UNIVERSITY ACCESS PROGRAM (UAP) : For students who have not met the minimum English requirements for the bachelor or MBA program entry. The program focuses on academic skills such as essay writing, research methods, note taking, critical thinking and seminar/tutorial discussion. Indian students will need minimum 6.0 to apply for UAP program. the students from other countries can apply with 5.5 and 5.0 bands as well.

New students who wish to apply must apply by the Entrance Award Application Deadline at least 30 days before the start of their first term at UCW.
