On July 1, 2023 the Suncrest College was Established as a result of merging Cumberland College and Parkland College with the mission to enrich the lives and futures of our learners and communities in a blended learning and working environment.

The merger was decided to provide better learning and come together as a stronger institution. 

while the Suncrest is still young the college has been backed up with the long history, experience and knowledge of Parklan and Cumberland college. 

The college is known for its health programs like Practicla Nursing and Continuing Care Assistance programs. The college also offeres Business and Environmental programs.

Suncrest College has Campuses in Canora, Esterhazy, Fort Qu’Appelle, Kamsack, Melfort, Melville, Nipawin, and Tisdale, However, the main campus is in Yorkton.
