The Toronto District School Board, formerly known as English-language Public District School Board No. 12 prior to 1999, is the English-language public-secular school board for Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The public schools of Toronto are rated as one of the high-end schools for delivering middle and high school education to students from 9th to 12th grades.
Location and Campus
- The students from any country can apply for schooling in the Toronto District School Board and can study middle school or high school programs.
- Students who study at Canadian high schools for more than three years have better opportunities to apply to Universities and colleges without IELTS. After studying for three years in Canada, the IELTS requirement is waived off.
- Learning at Toronto District School Board public schools helps students learn more about Canadian culture and gives them a better understanding of the Canadian Education system.
- The students can choose from 31 TDSB international schools to apply for middle school or high school programs.
The application fees for Toronto district school board is CAD $350 . The Application Fee is non-refundable.
Full Year: CDN $16,000.00 (Sep to Jun or Feb to Jan)
One Semester: CDN $8,000.00 (Sep to Jun or Feb to Jun)
Secondary Schools (Grade 9 to 12)
The TDSB secondary schools offer comprehensive support to international students and a full range of academic, language and elective courses., AP courses, extra curriculum activities, clubs, and sport teams. All schools offer a wide range of art programs including music, drama, fine arts and visual arts.
A selection of secondary schools has been selected for hosting international students. These schools are located throughout the City of Toronto in a variety of communities. The spaces available at the designated secondary schools are regularly updated on our website (www.studytoronto.ca). Please check the website often in order to have the most up-to-date information. Placements will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Every attempt is made to place incoming international students in their school of choice; however, this may not always be possible.
International students applying to TDSB secondary schools are only eligible to regular-track programs.
