University Canada West Has Launched Eight New Streams
University Canada West has launched eight new streams for Associate of Arts degree program to give students a broader multi-disciplinary focus in their chosen field.
Students can choose one of eight streams while completing the requirements of the Associate of Arts degree by taking a cluster of electives related to their career goals.
The new Associate of Arts streams are:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Hospitality & Tourism
- Management
- Marketing
- Media Communication
- Psychology
- Social Justice
The students who have finished 10+ 2, or high school students can apply, the IELTS requirements are 6.5 with not less than 6.0. However, the student who has 6.0 IETLS can apply as well, they will be offered an in-sessional UAP (University Access Program) with LOA issued for the AAD (Associate of Arts Degree) program.
The programs will have four intakes Fall (October), Winter (January), Spring (April) and Summer (July), and the one-year tuition fee will be around $17,500 CAD. Students who will apply now for the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 intake can qualify for up to $4000 CAD scholarship as well.
After finishing the 2 years of Associate of Arts degree programs the student can:
- Apply for 3 years of work permit
OR
- Continue with the University Canada west to finish their degree for BCOM or BA on campus or online
- OR
- Can apply for credit transfer with other Canadian institutions and finish their degree
